In my research, I use numerical simulations and theoretical analysis to investigate the physics of fluids. 

Tools like  linear stability analsys and adjoint methods allow to unravel physical mechanisms at work in complex flows. Moreover, information obtained through these theoretical tools yields suggestions on the configurations to be analysed in the numerical simulations.

My current research interests are:

  • Hydrodynamic stability
  • Sensitivity, receptivity and flow control
  • Fluid structure interaction
  • Microfluidics
